Embrace change and build resilience at Elevate Your Mind

The work of a CPA is anything but predictable. In fact, CPAs across Alberta find themselves increasingly faced with disruption, change, and new opportunities. That’s why CPA Alberta is excited to announce the theme of its 2020 Elevate Your Mind conference: Embracing Change and Building Resilience. Don’t miss this valuable day of PD, designed to help your career thrive!

Elevate Your Mind will start with a speaker who knows all about leveraging the skills and power of a team during challenges to create success: Cassie Campbell-Pascal, former captain of the Canadian Women’s Hockey Team. Cassie has built a reputation for herself as a powerhouse—both off and on the ice. She is the only captain, male or female, to lead Canada to two Olympic gold medals and is the longest-serving captain in Canadian hockey history. Now retired from hockey, Cassie is a rinkside reporter for Hockey Night in Canada, a published author, and a dedicated philanthropist.

Cassie’s keynote will explore the theme of motivation and teamwork, as she shares how she learned to navigate change and overcome obstacles through leading and empowering her team. We can’t guarantee you’ll earn a gold medal once you apply the lessons from her presentation, but we do promise a full day of impactful sessions that will elevate your skills.

And, that is just one of our amazing keynotes; you will also be able to hear from Todd Hirsch, Vice President and Chief Economist of ATB Financial, and Michael Kerr, renowned Hall of Fame speaker and author. Register early for this information-packed day and save big bucks! Early bird pricing runs until March 20: you can get your ticket for $295 (regular price $445). Purchase your ticket now!

Elevate Your Mind is a full-day conference that offers a variety of engaging and targeted speakers and sessions to “elevate” the skills of Alberta CPAs at any stage in their careers. The event will take place on May 29 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff.
