CRA consultation sessions: share your feedback on propose changes to the CRA’s authorization processes

The Business Number and Authorization Division with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will be hosting public opinion research consultations, with two sessions per day in six Canadian cities in November. Here in Alberta, the event will be in Edmonton; if you can’t make the Edmonton sessions, other locations across the country include Vancouver, Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, and Halifax. Each session will include eight to 12 participants.

This is your opportunity to share your opinion and feedback pertaining to changes being proposed to the CRA’s authorization processes. Provide your input to the CRA as they determine how to streamline and improve their processes around third party authorizations. The consultation sessions will also give the CRA a greater understanding of where the issues are for third-party representatives, and provide suggestions and ideas on how to improve the overall process.

The objective of these sessions is to meet and consult with third-party representatives on how to strengthen, streamline, and further improve the CRA’s authorization processes for individuals and businesses, while making them more secure.
