Each year Alberta CPAs, candidates, and students volunteer to help low-income Albertans complete their tax returns free of charge. The CPA Alberta Tax Clinic Program holds clinics in Edmonton, Calgary, and other communities in co-operation with seniors’ homes, community centres, and other not-for-profit agencies. The 2018 clinics wrapped up last month, with volunteers completing more than 4,300 returns!

CPA Alberta Tax Clinic Challenge
The Tax Clinic program also allows volunteers to combine their philanthropic spirit with their competitive edge and join the 2018 CPA Alberta Tax Clinic Challenge. The challenge encourages CPAs from all employment sectors to compete with their fellow professionals to see who can attend the most clinics. The best part is the more clinics attended equals the more help received by those in need.
