EDMONTON

CareerSmithing, Reverse-Engineered Through the Perspective of a Potential Job Seeker

Gallup reports that 85% of the global workforce is disengaged, which means if you are reading this there is an excellent chance that you are among those who aren’t feeling 100% connected at work and don’t know why.

During this session, Shane Wallace, of Career Smith, will present the entire CultureSmith methodology, reverse-engineered through the perspective of a potential job seeker. The session will focus on what Shane feels is the true challenge: not the the number of people who are in fact disengaged, but rather the continued misdiagnosis of what engagement truly is. According to Shane, employee engagement is the emotional connection an employee has with their company’s goals and objectives—in other words, does it truly matter to them on an emotional level if their company wins or loses? For many, that answer is no, or at a minimum “I don’t know.”

If this sounds like you, then this may be the best session you attend all year!

The event is free and open to all Alberta CPAs.
