Do you know a CPA colleague or supporter of the CPA profession who stands out and deserves some recognition for their dedication towards the profession?
CPA Alberta is seeking nominations for the 2018 CPA Alberta Achievement Awards, which recognizes individuals whose achievements in their career, the community, and the CPA profession have brought honour to the profession. Nomination deadline is October 31.
CPAs can nominate a deserving peer in three categories: Fellows of the Chartered Professional Accountants (FCPA), Distinguished Service Award, and the Early Achievement Award.
Fellowship is granted to CPAs who have rendered exceptional service to the profession or whose achievements in their careers, the community, or in the profession have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes CPAs or supporters of the profession who have demonstrated a significant achievement within the last five years and have therefore brought honour to the profession.
The Early Achievement Award recognizes CPAs who have had their accounting designation for 10 years or less and have rendered exceptional service to the profession or whose achievements in their careers or in the community have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.
There is a fourth and final category, the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is determined by the CPA Alberta Board of Directors and is not open to nomination from the membership.
