CPA Alberta is excited to announce that a record-breaking 802 CPA candidates have passed the national CPA Common Final Examination (CFE). Of these 802 successful individuals, special mention goes to four individuals whose exceptional performance on the CFE placed them on the National Honour Roll. Those four individuals are:

Formerly at PwC Edmonton
Now at Airbnb, Montreal
* Ande was also named the Western Region Gold Medalist, being deemed the top writer in all of Western Canada
Stanley Doherty CPA, CMA
“All Alberta CPAs are celebrating the success of our CPA candidates,” said Rachel Miller FCPA, FCA, CEO of CPA Alberta. “Their achievement confirms the knowledge, skills, and abilities of future CPAs in the province. Writers have worked hard to get here, and are now on their way to enjoying the exciting opportunities in their careers that being a CPA offers. As well, the four individuals named to the National Honour Roll deserve special congratulations, and showcase the expertise the next generation of CPAs in the province already demonstrate.”
Successful completion of the CFE signifies a mastery of the technical skills, professionalism, and business acumen expected of new CPAs. Exam results were released on November 30 and CPA Alberta held celebrations in both Edmonton and Calgary to acknowledge this milestone achievement in the careers of the successful writers. They will have the opportunity to cross the stage and be formally welcomed to the profession at CPA Alberta’s 2019 Convocation, which will take place in February 2019.
Congratulations to all successful writers!
